Da e piciorul de la porc dezosat,strans bine intr-o plasa si maturat(cured) dupa anumite procedee,un anumit timp.De locul de unde cumperi si de firma producatoare ,depinde si calitatea bunaciunii.
Daca nu se mananca tot atunci cand gatesc sta foarte bine la frigider si mancam rapid in sandvisuri sau alaturi de cartofi ,etc.(si asa eu nu cumpar mezelicuri)
Shefu ,deja a dat raspunsul un pic mai jos.
Cand am sa mai cumpar pun si o pozica cu eticheta.

Gammon is the name given to the meat from the hind legs of a pig that has been cured in the same way as bacon. The main difference between gammon and ham is that gammon will be sold raw and needs to be cooked; ham is sold cooked or dry-cured and ready for eating. Once gammon is cooked it can be called a ham and may be sold as a gammon ham.
